recap

Experts agree that it takes about 10,000 hours to truly master something. Artist Steve Nielsen has exceeded this benchmark by many thousands of hours. Those hours have been spent pounding, stretching, painting, sanding and sculpting from his shop in Oroville, Ca. The result of his labor manifests in life-like replicas of salmonids, butterflies, birds and other critters – all from stainless steel.

Steve’s thoughtful and elegant attention to detail combined with his relentless drive to always take his next project to higher level is what puts him at the top of his industry.

Join us as we step into the mind of a driven artist to learn what makes him tick. Many of his insights, thought processes, etc. can be applied to your own pursuits – whether it’s tying that next fly, making a connection to that next fish, or kicking ass in your career.
