recap

Given where we are at with artificial intelligence and robotics experts estimate that we will be subjugated by machines somewhere between 2040-2050*. Once this happens we humans will need to get back to our roots – no more buying shrink wrapped meats in bulk at Costco kiddos. We will once again need to hunt and gather on our own.

This is why Michelle and Aaron Grabiel created Harvest Wild**.

If you find yourself smack dab in the middle of a robot uprising, grab your loved ones, food, water, guns and rods and make your way to Palo Cedro, Ca. where you will meet the leaders of the human resistance (the Grabiels).

Once on the compound they will teach you everything you need to know to survive in the wild – hunting for blacktail deer, wild boar, waterfowl and turkey. If you aren’t into guns (um, it’s a robot uprising you need to reconsider your position), Aaron will show you how to catch a trout with a fly rod, gear, standing in a boat, walking and wading – you name it.

If you consider yourself a pacifist (again, time for introspection here – ROBOTS!) then the Grabiels can show you how to ID and sustainability harvest all types of wild food.

What kind of a survivalist would you be if you didn’t know how to prepare and cook all that game and wild food you harvested? The Grabiels have you covered there too with meal prep and cooking instructions. Is there anything these two can’t do?

The Robopocolypse doesn’t sound so bad now, right?

* Experts rarely agree on anything, especially this topic.
** No, no they didn’t.
